Concertina fence has been recognized a very powerful device to object unwanted entry of enemies or animals. Sharp blades and spiral structure can trap anyone who intends to go through or over the concertina wire.
Generally speaking, concertina fence is a combination of concertina wire and chain link fence or welded wire mesh which only blocks people out and will not hurt you (see Fig 1). This kind of concertina fence is widely found in prison, airport, residential, government and commercial area.
Another type of concertina fencing is comprised of concertina spiral wires. On the one hand, they can be fastened to steel structure to forming a security fence (see fig 2). On the other hand, they can be installed without steel structure (see fig 3).
